I am the very proud owner of a lovely Bull Mastiff called Lily, and a Dorset Olde Tyme Bulldogge going by the name of Sherlock. They're both rescues (that's a bit of a heart-string yanking tale in itself), and if I loved them any harder, I might just explode. Photos to follow with some possibly mushy commentary:
My partner having cuddle time with them both: ![]() Closeup of Sherlock: ![]() Both of them playing in the flood water we had here earlier in the year: ![]() More flood playing: ![]() Last one: ![]() Sherlock (the bulldogge) unfortunately has epilepsy, and was born with a squashed brain. As a result, he's brain damaged, but he's utterly adorable and we love him to bits. Lily has arthritis in her hind quarters, which you wouldn't believe after seeing her jumping in these photos. However, we feed her a really good quality dry food, that contains glucosamine and chrondroitin, along with some other bits and pieces that I can't recall. |
