I'm a fan of Shih Tzus. But aside from the usual health issues I need to deal with, they're prone to matting. Buchi, my shih tzu, should have his fur combed daily because it easily gets matted. Even a little tussle will make his fur clumped together and I would need to comb it again.

During hot seasons, he needs to be brought to the groomers to have his hair clipped because he doesn't like my sister's noisy clippers or the scissors.

Peanuts may not have super long fur but she can shed a lot so I have to clean my room everyday.
