A very worthwhile cause to give too as blood is always in short supply and can make the difference between life and death in a patient. Unfortunately Bart is now far too old and too hysterical to ever have been a doner

I'll just have a look off tapatalk, probably work then, it just takes longer. I think Nelson would be a good candidate for blood donation, he'll pretty much just stand there and let a vet or groomer do anything to him so he shouldn't mind this too much. Long as he gets a munchie out of it he's happy lol.

I've signed up to be notified when they do collections in South Wales, Skye is usually really good in the vets.

Default Your dog can save lives! (Canine Blood Donation)
Did you know that dogs can give blood and save lives too?

Have a read about it here.

Has your dog ever needed blood or given it? If so I'd love to hear about it!

We get ours through the Pet Blood Bank but useful to know of local dogs we could call on in an emergency. The best cats are usually those breeds like Ragdoll as they are big and normally very laid back, unlike most others who make it a challenge just to get a blood sample!
