No, I don't have any animals with those names. I did name a kitten that I gave away named Jax which is similar to Jack. I would consider some of them for the future though: Lily, Tiger, Daisy.
I am surprised my eldest cat's name is not on the list though; Fluffy. I know it's a generic name used in TV and movies. I had a friend make fun of me for naming a cat Fluffy, but I didn't name him. That was his name when I got him and I was 6. I thought it was ridiculous to make fun of me when her cat's name was Dexter. I don't care for HER cat's name. |

I've never used any of those names. I usually try and pick something that fits the way they look or act. For instance, I had a cat who was always getting into trouble from his curiosity (stuck on the roof, locked in a freezer, etc) so his name was Marco Polo. I had a lovely cat that had coloring like a Siamese (even the blue eyes) but was stocky like a linebacker. His name was Shitake.

That's hilarious. My dog's name is Charlie, though I didn't name him (he's a rescue), but I would have never guessed that that was the #1 name (granted I live in the US and that's in the UK). I also shudder a bit about Bella being the top female name...but that's for another discussion.
Of the names on that list, I most like Max. I've always loved the idea of naming a dog Max. |
