I am still wondering if he's some kinda Mastiff mix. That's a big dog for his age. I'd buy Ridgeback mix if they were more common, but they seem to still be relatively rare here.

i was wondering if he has great dane in him they are pretty common around here and his head shape is similar to theirs, you can't really see it in the pictures I put up. He is a big baby very lazy and clumsy

He reminds me of my cousin's dogs. They were pound puppies listed as "beagle mixes."

The first pic is their first night home.

And now....
and

The pictures really don't do justice. They're a sturdy 135-140 lbs. each and TALL. Maybe not great dane tall but pretty dang close. God bless my cousin for sticking with them once they outgrew her expectations!!

They are very clumsy too. Sweet as pie but goofy as all get-out!

Looks a LOT like the German Shepherd/Boxer puppies my relative "accidentally bred".

Does look houndy though.

At that size and with Danes common in your area I'd believe Dane mix.

Default Its that time again :)
time for the guess that breed game folks. Scooby showed up at our house a few weeks ago and so far nobody has come to claim him, so we have no idea how old he is or what he is. He is still very puppyish and his junk hasn't dropped all the way yet either, also he tried to howl or bay but it comes out all sqeaky. We think he is some kind of hound mix, what do you all think. Oh is he 58lbs

Ok! I love these

Call him a hound mastiff mix and get him a new home!
(But really probably more like a extra mixy mix )

He looks very cute and happy

I keep trying to think of what type of hound he could be mixed with but I'm not really familiar with them lol any ideas, oh and we're keeping him if his owner doesn't show up, which its been like three or four weeks since we found him.

Those big floppy ears make me think blood hound or some other type of scent hound.

Cute though. OH! What about a Ridgeback mix?

He is super sweet when I get home he wags his tail, but his whole body wiggles with it. Its pretty funny, I look at ridgebacks and it could be possible i guess.

He's definitely houndy looking. He also looks a lot like the dogs we'd get in the shelter with known rottie in them. In the head/face, anyway.
