ooooh I love him and I want to pet him a lot.

avaiguite 01-08-2012 04:05 PM

He sure is cute and looks so happy!

I am still wondering if he's some kinda Mastiff mix. That's a big dog for his age. I'd buy Ridgeback mix if they were more common, but they seem to still be relatively rare here.

i was wondering if he has great dane in him they are pretty common around here and his head shape is similar to theirs, you can't really see it in the pictures I put up. He is a big baby very lazy and clumsy

He reminds me of my cousin's dogs. They were pound puppies listed as "beagle mixes."

The first pic is their first night home.

And now....

The pictures really don't do justice. They're a sturdy 135-140 lbs. each and TALL. Maybe not great dane tall but pretty dang close. God bless my cousin for sticking with them once they outgrew her expectations!!

They are very clumsy too. Sweet as pie but goofy as all get-out!

casinobonusnolimit 02-08-2012 07:41 PM

cute pups its always a suprise when you think you are getting one thing and end up with another

machpamb 02-08-2012 10:02 PM

Looks a LOT like the German Shepherd/Boxer puppies my relative "accidentally bred".

Does look houndy though.

At that size and with Danes common in your area I'd believe Dane mix.

Its that time again :)

time for the guess that breed game folks. Scooby showed up at our house a few weeks ago and so far nobody has come to claim him, so we have no idea how old he is or what he is. He is still very puppyish and his junk hasn't dropped all the way yet either, also he tried to howl or bay but it comes out all sqeaky. We think he is some kind of hound mix, what do you all think. Oh is he 58lbs

Ok! I love these http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Call him a hound mastiff mix and get him a new home! http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png
(But really probably more like a extra mixy mix http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/lol.gif)

He looks very cute and happy

casinobonusnolimit 07-19-2012 05:24 PM

I keep trying to think of what type of hound he could be mixed with but I'm not really familiar with them lol any ideas, oh and we're keeping him if his owner doesn't show up, which its been like three or four weeks since we found him.

Ijkavylo 07-19-2012 05:38 PM

Those big floppy ears make me think blood hound or some other type of scent hound.

Cute though. OH! What about a Ridgeback mix?

dhYTvlAv 07-19-2012 05:48 PM

I don't have a clue either, but he has an adorable face.

casinobonusnolimit 07-19-2012 05:53 PM

He is super sweet when I get home he wags his tail, but his whole body wiggles with it. Its pretty funny, I look at ridgebacks and it could be possible i guess.

DoctorWeryDolt 07-19-2012 09:20 PM

He's definitely houndy looking. He also looks a lot like the dogs we'd get in the shelter with known rottie in them. In the head/face, anyway.

casinobonusnolimit 07-19-2012 09:41 PM

@ little lizard his coloring looks a lot like the dog in you avatar pic

Styparty 07-19-2012 10:33 PM

I kinda see beagle in his face to be honest! I know mutant overgrown beagle lol. But here face reminds me of my jackabee only bigger!

12Cickprior 07-19-2012 10:46 PM

My sister had a ridgeback x that look alot like that. I can't remember what it was crossed with it was a long time ago.

DoctorWeryDolt 07-20-2012 08:09 PM

They're coloring is a lot alike. I love it. Mila gets hers from the boxer in her.

anconueys 07-20-2012 08:16 PM

Cute as hell, thats what he is.
