I was talking to somebody about my dogs. I was telling them about how I didn't leave high value items (food, toys etc) lying on the floor to keep a fight from breaking out over them. I inform them that this is something I don't mind and don't care about it, it doesn't bother me.

They kinda scoff at that, and precede to tell me that I should 'get rid' of my dogs and get dogs I don't need to pay so much attention to, or sacrifice so much for.

Really?? I just told you that I DON'T care that I have to do this, and that I understand that it's not for everyone. So why the hell would you say that?

Aside from that, where the hell would my dogs go? How do you propose that I "get rid" of them?

I hate people.
