Default Dog Trainers Dream Come True
This property is only 25 miles from me.
Dang ... I'm just sitting here daydreaming about this set up.
If someone were a dog trainer and looking for a business location ... here ya go.
Or maybe a daycare/boarding/grooming facility ... puppy peddlers need not apply LOL
You could live here too ... BONUS !!! ... the checkered tile would HAVE to go though HA !!!

Here's 29 more pictures on Trulia.
If it only had a pool or dock training feature on the property HMmmmmm ... there's certainly room for it

Weather is nice here year round and only 80 miles to the beach. Just far enough back so hurricanes aren't a problem.
Oh and obviously real estate is pretty darn reasonable ... and property taxes are low.
Only problem ... I checked my wallet 3 times and STILL don't have $180k laying around in it ... shoot ... oh well, I can daydream LOL

I'd love to have the kids grown and out of the house so I could buy something like that. I'd be nice to spend the rest of my life training and boarding dogs.

There was a property in Monroe County here that was sitting on 5 acres with nothing else around it but farmland. Not a far drive for people in Detroit or the burbs, either, and just a few minutes outside the city of Monroe. It was 4 bedrooms, 2.4 baths, new roof, siding, large porch just redone, new windows and new HVAC. Plus it had a nice pool and 3 outbuildings. Listed for $75k. I told my husband I would love to buy it and turn one outbuilding into dog kennels and the other into an agility and training building so we could do dog training and boarding. Too bad we already own a house we'd have to update a bit and sell first.

Would take some major work and money to keep that place looking pristine. But definitely a set up nicely from what I have seen in the pictures.

Hmmm maybe I can quit welding and work with dogs all day! Who the hell am I kidding, I don't have that kind of money either. Would be an awesome set up though. I need a benefactor

I hear ya Boogie. That was my first (and second and third) thought too LOL

But ... reality hits and then I realized that with mortgage and trying to make a living off living there ... someone would have to take in about a minimum of $100-$150 a day to "get by". That's very roughly right off the top of my head and if it was just one person. It would take two people or a single person and an employee maybe to make it go.

Of course if someone had a job or income elsewhere ... then it's a whole 'nother thing

Boarding/daycare/training/ shoot ... maybe even a small pet/feed store on the first floor
