We picked her up Sat a few weeks early, the breeder had a death in the family and she had to leave town. She is just 6 weeks old but the breeder felt I had enough experience with dogs to take her on home and she really had no other options. Mater always does a fine job of socializing my pups but OMG she is so tiny =) I went right away and got Innova puppy food because I did not want to keep her on the Purina the breeder had her on, we are mixing the two foods for now but she is still having problems eating dry feed so we are soaking it for her and I am giving her Nutra Cal three times a day just to be sure she is getting enough.
We have went with the name Yanna and yes I have to fill out her AKC paper work so her papered name will be ~Still out on that one~ LOL Here is a few pictures ....... ![]() ![]() Think she will ever grow into being able to eat out of this bowl...lol ![]() |

Why couldnt she stay with the breeder? The breeder had a death in the family and was having to go out of State.....I know people take pups all the time at 6 weeks and they are fine, even though we never allow new pups here to go until they are 10 to 14 weeks. I have Mater to help with the socilizing part and I will also be taking her with me to work everyday though she will not be interacting with any dogs/pups until 10 days after her last vaccination. I have set her up a Vet crate in the grooming room where I spend 90% of my day =)
Thanks guys |

Yanna... that's unique! How big were her parents and where abouts was she in the litter, she is freaking cute! And she'll always be like a puppy because they stay small lol.
Registered name.... Hmmm.... I'm interested to hear that one. Lol I woulda had so much fun picking out Maci's if I'd gotten to be her first owner Good luck with her, keep nurtical close by. I know Maci needed it until she was like 10 weeks old! |
