Tell your wife it could have been worse. The neighbors dog gave birth while she was at a dentist appointment with her daughter. Momma dog had one pup on the love seat and then moved to the couch to birth another before the neighbor got home and put her in her whelping box. Total loss on the living room furniture. Both pieces couldn't be cleaned and had to be tossed.

My wife was pretty good natured about the whole deal. She just wanted to know why? Why the comforter?
