See if you can find a video (sounds horrid but they need the reality) of a pregnant dog having complications, and dieing and the pups dieing, have them see the hernias, the stuck in the birth canal, the dog dieing on the table for the c-section. Show them a video if you can find one of dogs being euthed at the shelters because seriously they need a reality check and words are not working

I just meant that if I were to have my own club - which I don't!! - I would choose to make it an altered only club. That's just my own personal preference.

Show = conformation show. You know, the pretty dog shows you see on tv?

Oh! Yeah. That's what I meant. I know I would be missing out on some great dogs, not to mention a great wealth of knowledge about the breeds! But since any club I ever started (even typing that makes me giggle just b/c I'm talking about something so hypothetical! Ha!) would be just for fun, it would be more important for me personally to make sure that I'm not doing anything at all to promote BYBing.

Not saying I wouldn't want to interact with people who DO compete in other venues, just not in any formal club of my own creation. :-). Ya know, the hypothetical club I'll never be creating anyway because there are WAY more educated people out there to make clubs for me to join! ;-). haha....
