awww cutie, I couldn't guess on the OP or Granite, love the name...here, guess if you want lol he is 3 years old and still the breed other than bully breed is up in the air, he is 25 inches to the withers, the most resent guess is plott hound and I kinda like the guess (oh and his strange coat...after a long time of looking we think its Sable)

What does this have to do with anything? Pits can have pink on their noses. it's called "dudley". And for this dog in particular...he doesn't even have a dudley nose...he just has a washed out red.

Anyway...he may be a mix of any number of breeds. He may also be pure bred pit. Who knows?

Keep in mind that not all pure bred animals are WELL BRED animals. Meaning not all pure bred animals have all the traits and lack the imperfections that would make it a champion of conformation events.

Basically, just because a dog doesn't look like a perfect example of it's breed...doesn't mean it's can't be pure bred.
Duh, It was the standard red nose joke.

Default What might my pup be mixed with? What about yours?
I've heard about 20 different breeds as he's grown up and developed. Any guesses?
He's only 8 months so his body is still a little awkward.

On a side note, does anyone else's dog sit like that with their feet tucked under their butt?

It's funny, that's his relaxed sit. He squishes into it when he's posing.

Yep! I couldn't care less if he's shaped right or if he's so-called "pure bred", I think he's perfect!

When pups are chubby they sit like that. Notice a lot of bullies sit like that because they have the chub to cushion them. When my dog was fat it used to sit like that.

Ah sorry. I didn't register the jokiness of the quote. Some folks like to add in a "lol" just to soften the blow of bad news. :P

Frankie sits like that. She just started doing it the last month or so (she's 9 months old) and she's not chubby. She's always been lean.

Rosie does the squat thing.
