So took all the dogs up to Highpoint State Park, we usually do a hike up there, they love it.. as we were walking towards the trail, a man and his maybe 8 or 9 year old son and there dog stop to chit chat with me.. My two older dogs hanging out and getting there fill of attention Dallas ( Slovencsky Kuvac) is being very tolerant as always with this kid hugging her by the neck and all.. The child was very hyper and all up in my dogs faces.. As I said my Kuvac is tolerant and will take 15 kids jumping or pulling at her and not flinch.. The boy gets on the ground in front of Tye's face and starts chanting come on come on and pushing tye back to get him to Idk wrestle or play rough? Im watching Tye closely and he is very uncomfortable isnt quite sure what the hell this kid is doing. My kuvac heards her way in the middle of Tye and the boy, and i then said " honey, Tye is a puppy and i he is strong and i would prefer if you didnt get on his level on the ground..) (" I told him my kids are not allowed to do this and Tye isnt use to this behavior..") ok the dad is going on and on about the dog he just got that is just as hyper as the boy.. Next thing i know the kid is standing about 3 feet in front of Tye slightly bent forward towards Tye with his fists clenched starring Tye down in his eyes. Tye is stiff in his leaning forward mode tail straight out and hackles starting to rise.. (WTF?) I immediately redirected Tye's attention and said calmly but firmly, " Do not ever stare a dog down in his eyes like that, you can get yourself hurt dogs take that as a challenge" He tells me " Well i do it with my own dog all the time" Then the father chimes in and says to me oh he's ok he plays rough all the time with our dog.. REALLY? good for you but this isnt your dog asswipe.. (i didnt say that) LOL. So i said to the dad, " all dogs are different and Tye being a pup he is not conditioned to this rough play it is not allowed with humans in my house.. THe guy proceeds to call me a fucking moron and tells his kid lets go this lady doesnt want you around her dogs... WTF??? I was in shock and pissed off beyond belief that my ears started to burn (no Joke).. I mean was i wrong for trying to protect his child from possibly being hurt? I just dont understand people.. and my dogs were leashed all 3 of them.. UGH so damn frustrating sometimes....
