Okay all, here is a background story on what's going on and why we would like to help raise money for Kathy Owen:

A friend in the dog show world named Kathy Owen, who has owned APBT's her entrie life, showed a few years and even had a dog in the Top Ten... Has a 12 year old daughter named Stephanie who is very ill.

This is Stephanie's second round of treatment for thyroid cancer. She had it when she was 6 years, but the doctors thought that removing her thyroid and radiation had cured her. The cancer is back now and if this round of treatment doesn't work, they can't treat her again. Your body can only handle so much radiation before it kills you.

This child had cleft palate surgery just after birth, open heart surgery at 8 months old, thyroid removed and radiation therapy for cancer at 6 years old, and now cancer treatment again at 12 years of age.

Stephanie can't be on the medicine for her thyroid levels while going through treatment so for the last 2 months and for the next 2 months, she feels like she has the flu every day.

Stephanie's mother, Kathy, had to quit her job six months ago when they found out, and the doctors took Stephanie out of school at that time as well. They were a two income family, but they are now LOSING THEIR HOME! Kathy plans to go back to work after Stephanie's treatment, but that won't be until 8 weeks after she does the radiation treatment. They have to do the treatment and keep her off thyroid meds for 2 months, then scan her to see if it worked.

If you have anything that you would like to auction off, please post a photo here in this group with a brief description of the item, what dollar amount you'd like the bidding to start at, as well as what date and time (including time zone) you'd like the bidding to end.
