Default Some People Dont Deserve to Live!
Just to give you a little background first.. When I went to college I started hanging out with one of my brothers friends a good bit. He was a bartender and eventually trained me as a bartender as well. He had a Pit Bull named Bentley. One of the most gorgeous dogs I have ever seen in my life. Later down the line, he moved out of his apartment and needed a place to keep his dogs. My girlfriend and I REALLY wanted to keep Bentley for him but were unable as our apartment didnt allow dogs over 40lbs(Bentley is from a world record XL and XXL Razors Edge bloodline). So we suggested letting Bentley stay with my cousin who also owned Pit Bulls. It went great and we loved having all the dogs together! They never fought or had disagreements at all. My cousin began breeding his dogs with other peoples pit bulls and like most breeders who own the male bred dog, he had stipulations. His were $1000 stud fee and first pick of the litter. He let one of his friends breed their female with Bentley because they wanted to surprise their brother who was getting out of jail..... (RED FLAG!!) So my cousin agrees against my better judgement and breeds Bentley(Dont worry he had checked with my friend to make sure it was ok to breed his dog)

After all of the puppies are born my cousin asked to see pictures. At first they mentioned 9 pups, but all the pictures only showed 8. So we asked about the 9th puppy. They sent a picture over to us claiming they didnt realize the 9th puppy, who happened to be the prettiest, wasnt in any of the pictures. My cousin told them he wanted that one and said that at 6 weeks he would come to get the puppy. Well 6 weeks rolls around and my cousin called them up. They said that puppy was going to be given to the jail birds girlfriend... Im gonna spare you the argument that ensued and sum it up by saying that it ended with the dog being ours. My cousin told them on a Thursday he would be there on a Saturday to pick up the puppy. This was of course against my recommendation of drive your ass up there and get the puppy now. So Saturday rolls around and my cousin calls them again to let them know he is coming to get the puppy right then. The guy who answers the phone is the brother who had just gotten out of jail and he has the balls to tell my cousin you cant have the dog.. My cousin asked why and after the guy stumbles with his words says "The puppy died of Parvo". At this point both me and my cousin are extremely pissed off and my cousin asked when it happened. The guy said it happened Friday and he had already buried it. So then my cousin told him if thats the case put him in a bag im on my way to get him and bury him here. We get there and the guy hands my cousin a wet bag with the puppy in it. Now after a day of being dead rigor mortus wouldve set in. However the puppy was limp and soaked to the bone. Turns out the guy had just drowned the pup before we came to pick it up.

Needless to say I called my friend who not only breeds and loves pitbulls, but is also the county Sheriff, He went and investigated and took ALL of the owners dogs and turned over his investigative findings to the local DA. Me and my cousin were able to talk my friend(sheriff) into letting us find homes for the dogs. Now they are all part of loving families and very well taken care of as I frequently check in. Only wish I couldve done something to preserve the life of the dead pup.

I absolutely hate when situations like this come to extremes that couldve been avoided in the first place. I still cant get over this happening as I have a young Pit Bull named Aston and he is one of my best friends. I cant imagine what I would do if something like this happened to him.

Happens a lot when people can't afford the full stud fee and do pup back deals...later to find that the pup they have to give up is the one with the most potential. Then all the excuses and whining come into play and sometimes stupid people like that acts irrationally and stupidly causing harm to innocent pups. Sad.

Would have been EASY to avoid all the chaos I have noted -- WHY, WHY, WHY DOES THIS BREED FIND THE CHAOTIC PEOPLE AND PLACES IN THIS WORLD?? As long as you live in chaos and allow chaos to enter the lives of your dogs, this will keep happening in many ways in your life.

How could the police just take all of the dogs? On what grounds?
I think all partys here are guilty and the dogs are the ones to pay...

Believe me, I was the one who was against the whole situation. Like I said.. seemed like a lot of red flags going up with this guy.

Never "officially" told us anything about his findings.. But for him to have it taken that far it wouldve been bad. There was no crooked business going on though I can assure you that. I turned it over to my friend(sheriff) out of concern for the dogs and he took it from there.

yep, sad truth non of you guys had any business putting out more dogs bred for what sounds to be based on looks. this is what the APBT/BULLY dog world doesnt need, it doesnt need anymore dogs with no achieved accomplishments in the dog world. sounds like all parties at wrong. the man with the dead pup could have been telling the truth too. he may have pulled it out the ground and washed it up before giving you a dead dirty pup. who knows? all i know is now this guy may have a more charges regarding animal abuse when he may have done as i said. all this should have never happened in the first place.

wow. So...the owner of the female really wanted that pup, which is why he tried to get the guy with the stud to not take it, right? So why in the world would he drown it? I guess just out of spite.

Everyone involved sounds like a fucking idiot, to be honest.

Some idiot gives another idiot his unfixed dog and allows it to be bred with another idiot's dog. Then all of the idiots get into a big argument over one of NINE pups, resulting in someone killing the dog out of spite?

Was the pup blue? Is that why everyone wanted it? $10 says it was blue.

Well played, everyone.

Fix your god damned dogs and stop breeding.

They seem to be the color of choice for BYBs everywhere. "Rare" but not actually rare at all.

It got hype! People, fall for hype. I tell people looking for pups of ANY breed. If you hear the breeder pushing color or the word "rare" use it as a warning/red flag and run away.

I totally agree. I read that whole mess and tried really hard to figure out who's side I was supposed to be on when it crossed my mind that everyone in that story sounds like a complete moron.
