that way sucks, good luck, call all the shelters, and then go over there with photos, go every day and go and look, dont trust what they say and keep going back, also make sure you check all the vets too

Also try posting online anywhere you can that you lost her and check to see if anyone's posted that they found her. I know whenever we find a dog we take it in then post on craigslist or petharbor that we found it. Hope you find her soon!

This cannot be stressed enough, insist that they let you go look for yourself. My dogs got picked up by AC once, they called my ex's grandma,as her number is the one their chips were registered to,and by the time I called up there ten minutes later, they insisted that no one had called and they didn't have my dogs. Of course,I went up there, and my dogs were in fact there.http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.png

And talk to ALL of your neighbors. Someone may have decided to coax her into their house rather than let her run loose. If they're not home, leave them a flyer with your information on it.

Call your local radio station. This way you get alot of publicity. Good luck.

Good luck finding her!! I hope she got scooped up by a kind neighbor or the like!! Please look into a proper tie out or crating her from now on!
I really hope she is safe and sound.

Yes she's home luckily an older women and her husband who rescue beagles in my neighborhood (seriously the most talkative dogs living at a near by house and I didn't notice?) found her we actually met while she was passing out found dog flyers as I was passing out lost dog flyers I showed her photos I went to her house and picked up my dog they really liked her it was cute but I already know that I was LUCKY! She said humane society was looking for her 9____9 she doesn't like them she made that very clear well heres Cellar Door she's now in my room up stairs in her crate http://www.pitbull-chat.com/attachme...338708&thumb=1

Absolutely agree 100 percent in thinking on chain spot when outside, indoors mostly and a leash for potty time.

If she's never been on a chain, don't just put her out there and walk away...observe her on the chain for a couple of days...be nearby...
Also, be aware some dogs won't "go" if they feel they are on a "leash" -- observe that she IS going before you take her in the house. A quick lap around the (repaired) yard with you in attendance is appreciated by any dog kept on a chain before they go inside.
