Its kinda hard to keep him away from chickens when their always out! When I let him out to pee he just chases them and usually catches them from now on he's going on his leash! But he don't show no aggression towards anybody he usually sits and wags his tail and lets them pet him http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png and I will post some good pictures up pretty soon!

Keep him away from chickens, end of story.
Its kinda hard to when you live on a farm and their always out! The best thing I can do is break him from it.

With a young pup like that you want him to keep all 4 feet on the ground when playing on the spring pole. He's still developing and the stress hanging can put on his body is not good. Even as an adult you want to make sure they have to keep at least 2 feet on the ground at all times.

Good luck with your pup! Would be great to see some current pictures.
I know. But he likes hanging from it lol I'm gonna lower it and let him jerk on it till he gets olderhttp://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

My chickens are always out, too... That's why I have a fence in between the livestock and the dog yard - or else I wouldn't have any livestock left http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.png

Wait, what...?

He kills chickens - Okay, keep him away from chickens.

Are you taking him to a DOG park?

Come on, jailbait...

If you don't want him messing with chickens tie a rope to his collar and walk him close to some. Once he starts paying attention to them give him a jerk and a no. Repeat as needed even if you have to take him away. Once he knows you don't want him messing with a chicken put a shock collar on him and give him a bump with it when he starts paying attention to one. It won't happen over night but be consistent and it can happen. But either commit to it and do it right or don't bother.

update on brantly!!!!!!!!

I built him a spring pole and it surprised the hell out of me when he jumped up their and started hanging from it! I can take a rope and swing him around lol his whole body comes off the ground its pretty cool. He still has a problem with catching chickens idk what to do about it but other then that he's dooing good! I started taking him to the local park to socialize him he don't show any aggression to anybody and his weight is really good he's weighing a good 40 pounds at 6 months old! Ill probably end up posting some videos of him and some new pictures so get ready for them! lol

Nothing wrong with showing a dog right from wrong if somebody's willing to spend the time to do it. Sometimes shit happens and it's better for the dog to know what's expected from it. Breed is not an excuse.
