He'll only wear it on walks, so I'm not too worried about it getting dirty.

There is an example of a collar with two colours, too... Hmmm!

Thou shalt not put girly colors on male bulldogs.

It's the eleventh commandment. You can look it up but I'd just take my word for it.

I'd look at a black one and put the money into stitching and good hardware instead of colors. If you really want the colors I think the OD green would be fine as long as you don't go so light as to make it a pastel green. I would also be a supporter of maroon, the darker the better, or a good brown or reddish brown with stitching like I was talking about. If the internet can't do it find a guy that makes saddles, chaps, tack, boots etc. and talk to them about it. You might come out ahead.

Yeah the turquoise might be a bit darker.. you could ask Rebecca and she should be able to tell you! I like the double bar buckle too, so I don't blame you there!

I *still* haven't gotten Sako an EL collar because I've been waiting til he slows down a bit! He's 17 months now, you'd think he'd be close to done.. but he keeps getting bigger!

Damn it, that makes me want to wait on Ze's! I'd be really upset if his collar didn't fit in 2 months

This would look amazing!!

*sigh* Wouldn't it just?

This is so hard! lol

Really? I figured one of the colours would be the sand in a combo lol

ETA: His eyes are amazing, I love them!

I think the olive would bring out his eyes the best

I vote Turquoise or Teal just because I think they're beautiful colors.
A good blue/green will help his coat and the collar pop... I'm thinking the collar would pop more so though.

Sand I think would help keep things neutral all around, who would've thought lol.
I think this would help his coat to be louder than the collar.

I've always thought Olive was an ugly color so this would be my last option.

Thanks for all the opinions, yall!

Jazzy - I was looking at the Pumpkin one, too!! I like your idea of the colour combo there! And I also think he'd look fantastic in burgundy... I'm just not sure I want to give the public reason to call him a girl any more than they already do

catchrcall - Oddly enough, he doesn't look good in black O.o I DO know a local leather worker... if I don't ask him about collars, I definitely will about leashes because those things are incredibly pricey!

turquiose and sand
can you combine those 2?

Peanut is somewhat close colored but not quite and i do a lot of OD Green on him or military colors.

I knew I was forgetting something lol

That was my first thought when I saw they can be combined... but the olive/sand is camo drab and I don't know if I could pass that up!

Well, if you want sand, I think you should do the olive and the sand. I think they would bring his eyes out best.

But for pop, the turquoise is best.

Double leather Olive green over True Pumpkin

but I think I'd also like the Burgandy on him.

Btw, we are 1 of the other 2 people V. will be getting her first EL for her birthday in June. And just to put a bug in your ear and help you spend more money...I think you can get a matching leather wrist braclet for you

I like the turquoise! I *think* it's the same shade that my vegan tester collar from EL is. This is what it looks like on Wilson (even though he's not the same color as Ze):

I love the turquoise, but I tend to be boring and go with neutral/earthtones, so I really like the olive.
