I have to say... not a grand idea to leave your dogs outside together unsupervised. Broken buckets are the least of things you should worry about in that situation.

That said, buy a rubber bucket.

Get the horse feed (??) buckets at Tractor Supply... about $10, 5 gallon, and definitely will stand up to the dogs. Something like this: Fortex Flat Back Bucket, 4.5 gal. Capacity, Black - 2171289 | Tractor Supply Company

I have 3, a neon pink, orange and green one... I think they are similar to these... I paid about $8 or $9 for it, so I'm sure it was close to this, but I thought they were 5 gallon buckets... oops!! Fortiflex FB-120 Flat Back Bucket, 20 qt. Capacity, Red - 5051064 | Tractor Supply Company

(Also, I second not leaving them outside together unattended).

What is the bucket for anyways? Water for the dogs?

in less than 30 seconds she grabbed my bucket snapped it half and had a chunk off the side tore off..

And it never occurred to you she might do this to your other dog instead of a bucket? To the ONLY other dog, according to you, she even "gets along with" ?

Also violet can get along with just about any dog she just does some stupid thing where she jumps on me pins me down snarls drools all over me and then walks away.. I don't like that but the dogs she has done it to she has never had a problem with after that and she has never actually bit a dog

Wait that was a lie she bit another dog but not one she was introduced to it was one that just got put in the yard that had already tried to get violet before that

It only takes seconds when it happens. I bet you don't own a breakstick either... Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
You need to read the following to two threads and step up your management to be a responsible dog owner.

Oh, really?

She pulled away hopped a couch and got ahold of on of her little dogs and i was asleep.

Violet has been on a crate rotate with any other dogs besides ruckus and even when they re together i watch them close. But violet should have never been in the position to get another dog. I honestly dont blaim violet because i know how the breed is prone to DA. Thats why me and violet fit im as HA as she is DA lolol

Actually I own 5 break sticks one kept in the dogs room on by the front door one by the back door one in my bedroom and one in my car... My dogs are always supervised a couple of seconds while one person walks in and the other walks out is no different then turning your head for a second.. Also in the almost year I have been on this forum trustme I have read every sticky on here at least twice

---------- Post added at 01:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:28 PM ----------

Okay and read where in those does it say she full on bit the dog.. I call it DA because I don't like it.. Its the equivalent on if I was standing there and someone was in my face all over me I wouldn't like that either it's unexceptable.. As far as the little dog did she hurt it that day no she just scared the fuck out of it pinned it down did she bite no.. See if you read my post she doesn't bite the other dogs she does some stupid pin down which I hate

---------- Post added at 01:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 PM ----------

She grows she jumps on top of them she pins them down she snarls she like does some weird half chewing half drooling motion thing about an inch away from it.. Does she bite nope.. Has she drew blood nope. Do I still keep her away from those other dogs just in case yup..

I never said your dog bit another dog, did I?

Your view of "DA" and what behaviour is acceptable is scary. One day your dog is going to kill another dog, and you're going to be entirely surprised and not understand why.

How is that when my view of da is stricter than 90% of what people on this website do meaning that I keep my dogs from reaching even close to the chance of having something happen.. Where does that scream my dog is going to kill another dog

Let me break it down for you -

You put your dogs in the yard, then sat on the couch because your WIFE was going to go out there.

Your wife - who couldn't keep Violet from grabbing one of the NUMEROUS dogs you've had come into your household recently.

No, you're right, I'm sorry... You take EVERY precaution

yes my wife went out to watch them see since then my wife has learned how to use a break stick and how to handle/control her remember i am pretty sure i posted somewhere my wife was going to have to get more involved with violet.. So it would be no different then having any other women who owns the breed going out to watch there dog.

So yea i trusted to let my wife go out and supervise them

You are REALLY quick to trust. The last incident, she couldn't keep Violet from getting at another dog. I would think she'd have to prove she COULD prevent that before I'd let her supervise the dogs. SHE doesn't own the breed, from how you've said it... Violet is YOUR dog. YOUR responsibility!

Then she needs to stop meeting other dogs, because the dog who doesn't take that shit from her is going to start a fight. How can you let your dog be SO rude?

Yea see that's part of marriage you learn to trust. If she hadn't proved that she could handle the dogs then obviously i wouldn't of let her out there by herself.

And that is why i said i don't let her meet other dogs
