Slayer has changed A LOT.

I like the changes, but at the same time, I want to ask and make sure she sounds ok/normal to you guys. Since we have moved to the new place, and I have become more active and less stressed Slayer has had a HUGE attitude change. She is no longer the least bit shy, she is loving and friendly with EVERYONE ..ALWAYS, she has become super clingy though as well...she tries to be in your lap 24/7...yet...doesnt whine and show signs of SA like she used to when I go outside and she is in my house.

I love this...but it is SO sudden....ive only been here 3 weeks and everyone comments that "she is a completely different dog". These positive changes are a good sign right???

Dogs pick up on your emotions and act on it

Sounds like you made a positive change and so did she. What you're describing is a perfectly normal Pit Bull, lol.

Good...cause I LOVE this. I just don't want to be that oblivious asshat that has a miserable dog who feels like it needs more attention ...you know? lol

might be a combination of the new place and growing up a little. If I remember right she's not that old? Little over a year? Sometimes they come a long way in a short time.

Also, keep in mind that we've all heard about the family you lived with and how they treated her and felt about her at times. I'm sure it's a huge sigh of relief to be out of that situation. I agree with all of the above posts. The combination of age, your attitude, and a new place..

Awesome. I am just glad not to have misinterpreted her changes. She seems SO much like a better dog. I almost get teary thinking about how she used to be vs now. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png Im a dork.

Happens to the best of ushttp://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png Nothing wrong with being happy with how your dog is acting.

Lol I would take it and be happy =) She's probably feeling the lack of stress vibes off of you =)

Remember getting another dog also might play a part in this. She might feel she needs to compete for your attention.

I be on the phone.

I think it sounds wonderful! The change was good for you AND her! http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png She's starting to mature and come into her own, and I think the move happened at the perfect time!

Fainnamoony 03-30-2012 03:42 PM

sounds like a normal pit to me lol. My boy always wants to be right by me, preferably in my lap. Like others said now that your away from that stress prob helped to.
