Default Sigh...The Hunger Games
I just got back from seeing the Hunger Games, which was an overall awesome film. EXCEPT...

There are these mutant creatures called "muttations" in the book that are supposed to be some kind of genetically mutated doggish beast but with characteristics of humans. They're extremely vicious and in one scene a pack of them tears a human apart.

Any guesses as to what breed of dog the muttations looked like? I'll give you a hint: rhymes with "Schmidt Full."

sad..sounds like they just used real dogs instead of creating a CGI version? I recall the muttations to be pretty nasty looking...

I'm pretty sure they're CGI - but they look a lot like bear-sized pit bulls.

They reminded me of half gorilla, half hairless rottweiler.
You wanna see a pit bull type mutant, go see John Carter. lol He's cool.

I could see mastiff. They just had a definite bully look to them.

They just looked like gargoyle dog things to me.

"Pit bull" is not a word I would use to describe them at all. To me, in comparison to other CGI dogs/wolves it was a far cry from just dog, let alone a specific breed!

They looked nothing like Pit Bulls to me either. They looked more Gorilla in face and proportions(big front end), or typical hellhoundy/gargoyley thing.

They would've been scarier for me if they were wolf-like.

Side note: Resident Evil Dobies are awesome. (I believe they call them Cerberus? Which bugs me since I do love the character from mythology)
