Ugh FML!!! I thaught my roommate was bad.
 

So today my wife thaught she could take violet out on her by her collar. Celesse has never handled violet before. She pulled away hopped a couch and got ahold of on of her little dogs and i was asleep. I got out there got her off. There are no wounds he is just wet shaken and scared. I cant tell if she actually bit him he is wet in a spot but no teeth marks or blood.

He is crying when you pick him up and fine when you set him down.. IDK if i need to take him to vet or what. But my wife and her sister just got a rude awakening of her dog getting bit and then me screaming at her that she better never touch one of my dogs again until after she goes to basic obedience and learns how to handle and control violet the way i do.

Well didn't she know how strong these dogs are? Just give the little dog some time and space. He'll probably be ok. Star in his first fight tore up a dog a little. It took a few days for the small dog to get over it. Just now you really have to watch cause the little dog is going to try to act tough to try to keep violet away

Being that the little dog is crying and whining when you pick him up, it sounds like he is in some kind of pain. May want to take him to the vet to rule out any internal injuries.

I guess vet wouldn't be bad idea. He could be whining out of being scared too though

He quit whining now. He just isnt big on being held.. i pushed all over him no whines. and right now he is asleep with his little girlfriend. So besides not wanting to be held and wanting to sleep he is acting normal. And it was weird because when my wife picked him up was when he would scream when i picked him up
(and me and him dont like eachother) he would be fine and just look at me.
The dog violet got is a little 3 pounds 13 week old puppy.

I think what got me was that she took violet outside by her collar while other dogs are in the front room. i typically dont even take her out if the rest the dogs are put away..

Now she has be second guessing wanting any dogs besides violet. I mean violet is my baby and first dog.. And I know the crate rotate.. But it seems i cant be married or have roommates(dont have any no more) without hving to constantly worry if they are going to do something stupid. Im like 2 seconds away from putting a lock on violets kennel and telling everyone even my wife not to touch her unless i bring her out. Saddest part is violet was supposed to be my wifes dog i got her the day we got married.

Maybe this is a good wake up call that Violet needs to be the only dog. It is hard not to be a softy and try to save every puppy on craigslist, but perhaps this will establish how Violet needs to be kept.

Glad the little dog isn't whining anymore.

Time to set down some rules (and some educating) with everyone who comes and goes from your place.

Violet has been on a crate rotate with any other dogs besides ruckus and even when they re together i watch them close. But violet should have never been in the position to get another dog. I honestly dont blaim violet because i know how the breed is prone to DA. More so i blame my wife for thinking she can do everything. And myself for not stressing enough how important it was she do what i have told her a million times to do.

yea thats what im thinking. Anyone that might be here for longer than the 3 hours i let violet be in her crate(she dont like coming out except to eat,play, and use restroom) how she is and what cant be done with her.

I feel your pain.. My husband left the front door open a week ago and Sam got out.. He was acting like its no big deal! Spouses/room mates/friends can be so frustrating!! Just educate, educate, educate!

Did your wife scream and carry on when it happened? It's very possible she scared the crap out of her dog doing that and tgatveoukd explain her whining when she picked her up. I made a bully scared at me before cause I got mad at someone and slammed paperwork down. I got that dog skiddish now from any loud noises and being yelling at it. I apologized. The angercwas directed elsewhere but I sure scared that poor pup

she screamed and cried "babe babe babe" real loud but thats it i was the one screaming "how fucking stupid!!"

What about any sudden movements or loud noises?

Looks like violet didn't really go all hay day on him thank goodness.

Hopefully your wife learned her lesson! I'm glad the little dog wasn't killed or really hurt

Yea thats what im thinking because i have watched her tear the big black kongs apart in a short amount of time but she didnt harm a dog that is like 3 or 4 pounds ... she confuses me! lol

Well, I've got one friend. But we don't hang out unless we're getting dogs together to play, or going to a competition! lol

lol yea i couldnt live like that. id get bored , then lonely then id start talking to myself or thinking my dogs are talking back to me

lol Im not a people person either.. I went from the fat kid everyone made fun of to the star football player everyone wanted to talk to to the dude that broke his neck and got fat again lol.. this all lead to me seeing how people really are so i cant stand.. like malls are a no go for me i start getting pissed for no reason with all the people around me..

Thats why me and violet fit im as HA as she is DA lolol
