Oh AC took it.
How bad was he? Maybe they won't jump to conclusions and given the situation maybe they will eval him and see that he's not really HA.
Wow what a bad situation. I don't think I could have held back from beating the crap out of the guy .

The kid deserve to get bitten. Shame the dog didn't defend himself when the idiot owner attacked the dog. Poor dog and now he'll be killed but at least you helped out. I'm glad you took the pup. Thanks for helping in that situation because so many people would have walked away.

As for the kid, Im glad he got bit.. He needs to how it feels to get beat on cuz obviously his dad isnt teaching him!
Uh what? I hope your kidding. Did you not read the boy couldn't be more then 5 years old?

Randy I was driving down the street and saw a young boy kicking a puppy pit bull on a leash and hitting it with a stick. I turned my car around and pulled over but a cop pulled up at the same time. He took the kid and the dog.
I'm glad you were able to take the dog with you.

Cuts and scars don't mean dog fighting, expecially on a seven week old pup. Neither does beating a dog. In this case it just means you ran into a dirtbag. Sucks that this guy even owned a dog, and sucks worse that he is passing his methods on to his son.

Part of it was i was just trying to help educate the kid so he didn't grow up to be like that.. and then when the guy came out i thought he was saying he wanted to talk but my brother in law said he was like challenging me lol. people are weird these days..

Alright so yesterday we went back to apple valley to visit family. Me and my brother in law were walking down the street when i see this young boy hitting and kicking this little puppy and bigger dog which was a pretty good size am bully..

Me being me i walked up and tried to explain to this kid, who couldn't of been older than 5, how he needed to stop hitting on these two dogs. Well around the time this kid says he understands his dad comes out calling me "nigga" and "cuh" and telling me to "come at him".. well i didn't get what this meant at this time so i figured he meant come talk to him.

After telling me his son was "training" his UKC "pit bulls" we got into a brief argument because of how the kid was holding the poor pup off the ground by his leash and his parent said nothing. Well all of a sudden the little boy starts crying and you hear the puppy scream. we turn around and the bigger dog nipped the kid. The dude ran over and beat the poor dog nearly to death before i got over to him and got him off the dog.

He looked over the kid and found no marks while i looked over the poor dog. He called AC and they wouldn't let me take the dog after it was going to be HA. But the dude decided he was done with this "piece of shit breed" and i walked away with the pup and its paperwork.

So now i got this pup home and as a 7 week old puppy he has at least 5 good size cuts, 3 big scars, and is full of worms.. I believe I'm going to just bring him back to health and then place him out to a new home on a spay/neuter.

but with my luck my wife will fall in love with him and he will stay here. Although i am going to try to avoid that we don't need a 4th dog at this moment. But currently he is in a crate in the garage with a heater so that i can have him away from the other dogs for at least 14 days.. As poorly as he was treated who knows whats wrong with him.. i will find some out tomorrow at the vet.
LOL, wow! What a story! I can't believe people address people they don't know like that. Especially a parent of a child who was there. I'm glad that you got the puppy away from that TRASH. Good luck!

Yea well here is a picture.. He is kinda cute.. and hopefully at 7 weeks i got him out of their young enough for him not to be ruined in the head
Wow, he has pretty similar markings to my little girl.

yea i had a similiar incident to this once before with a dude and a lab pup because it wouldn't walk on a leash the cop took both of them that time too. but the kid then was like 15 this time it was a young child

I know two-week shutdowns are generally not needed for puppies but because your little guy has been through this ordeal, you might want to look into it:

http://www.bigdogsbighearts.com/2_week_shutdown0001.pdf

He's probably terrified and doesn't know if he can trust you at all. The last thing you wanna do is scare the crap out of him by making him do too much at once.
right now he is in the garage with a heater.. i planned on having him there 14 days just in case he ahs any nasties in him.. but i braught him in t get a pic lol

Yep. I'm not wanting to jump to conclusions but it seems like no matter what the police looking into it wouldn't be a bad idea.
