Default Camera Shy Bully
My dog hates having her picture taken and trying to get a picture of her is almost impossible. She will stand there like a statue until you go to take it then off she goes running again. While ago she stands there looking at me and teasing me to take her pic again so this time i reach for the camera and dont look at her but snap the pic without her seeing it LOL. Finally a good profile picture for a avatar. Now if i can only figgure out how to resize it.
Oh...she still got a bit of a attitude of having that cone on her head after she was spayed lol

LOL cute picture and very pretty dog! Usually the picture re-sizes itself automatically when you set it as your avatar, my avatar picture is actually huge and I didnt re-size it at all lol

Does your camera make a noticeable noise at the press of the button. Or is there a light on the front for the flash?

You can introduce her to the camera. Let her sniff it, when she doesn't get bothered then don't move it but take a shot [if there's noise] it'll waste some film but she'll learn the noise isn't some sort of a danger. Same with if there's a light indicating flash.

You can make it more appealing with using treats as a means of encouraging her to ignore the camera as it were and eventually move into taking photos. You could also leash her and step on the leash so she can't necssarily bolt [useless she goes nuts] at this stage.

Snaps used to hate anything with cameras [used to use one with a loud click] but as you can see in my avator he likes to poise now.
