so today at about 1:30 I got a call from a friend who was letting our dogs out while we were away that Sampson (APBT/Bloodhound mix) had been missing since 10
she had been looking for him since 10:15 and we called the humane society, animal control and an animal shelter that is about 20 minutes from my house. finally she decided to go to the police station and called me and told me that they had him. which didn't make me feel any better because of everything I've heard about trigger-happy cops shooting pit bulls. turns out they loved him and were playing with him until she got there to pick it up it only took me an hour to drive what would normally be a two-hour ride home but when I got home he had this mopey look on his face that expressed that he knew he was in trouble but I was too relieved to be mad. so moral of the story...apparently not all cops are bad |
