Why is a big head and being XXL a selling point for bully breeds? We have an XXL dog with a giant head, and he's a complete moron. Granted he's not a bully breed, I can imagine his giant noggin got stuck while birthing. Guess I dont see how it's a plus

Its the same reason people still breed English Bulldogs.. Some people like them, most serve no purpose and are completely impractical and they just like the look

Most bullies with bigger heads come out of big dogs, and dont grow those big heads until out of the womb, so they dont get stuck. The problem is when you breed big males to smaller bitches and get big ass puppies that cant come out.

Well in America...it seems to be that the general trend is...bigger is better.

We can't rest until we Supersize everything.

Not sure yet, hopefully this year. I am not saying we are the stupidest or worse, I am saying the majority of the world isnt to fond of us. lol
Plus I will be going to a Muslim country and they seem to not like Americans even more..

Actually the Standard and Pocket size American Bully is the most sought after. But like stated it is a persons personal choice on what breed or in this case class/style the like.

I like a very balanced dog. I can't stand the look of an XXL bully with a head too big or small for its body.

Well LovePup, IMO a proper looking XL Ambully is proportionate and doesnt have anything to big for how its body is..

To bring up a pic Kamdon posted as reference, to show how the dog is just super sized, not disproportionate. IF bred properly, which is hard to find in the AmBully world.

When I think about XXL AM Bullies I think of the Obese looking dogs who can't even breed with out help because they are so disproportionate.

Sorry LP those arent XL Ambullies I dont think, looks more a Standard or Pocket depending on the height I think. For sure not an XL IMO. Anyway that dog isnt disproportionate its just fat and it could produce pups just fine, males can and have always found ways and they dont produce weird shaped pups and will push a pup out usually just fine because they have normal shaped hips, unlike EBs.

@Kami, no way in hell you could find a "well bred" EB. Maybe and OLD EB but not a regular EB, couldnt pay me to take one of those dogs.
