Tell me if this is normal

My 10 week old pup rozzayy holds his bladder through the night with out waking me up to go potty I myself make it my business to set the alarm twice to take him out anyway once at 12 and again at 5:30 he has been this way since we got him at 8 weeks old!! My question is this normal for a 10 week old pup also he is doing amazing at potty training this is like a dream

Some dogs just seem to do amazing at toilet training. My Lab x Staffy, Sunny, was toilet trained since 8 weeks old. It's awesome some dogs are like this. Sadly Serenity had to be toilet trained >

Yea I can't believe it sometimes I guess because when we was kids we had a dog who did horrible I'm just waiting for the storm I guess..

Yeap, some dogs are just good at holding it. My brother's AmStaff could hold it like a champ from 8 weeks, except if you put him on a bed. I don't know what it was but he would ALWAYS pee on the bed.

You might run into some issues later on though when he gets to his "bratty adolescent puppy" phase around 6-8 months where he is trying to test the boundaries. But you've still got a ways before that. Enjoy it. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

I wouldn't necessarily call it normal http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/wink.png But I definitely wouldn't be worrying about it.

I got Frankie at 10 weeks old and she's slept thru the night since day one. It doesn't matter if she's on the bed with me, or in her crate. It also dosen't matter if we go to bed at 9pm, or 1am, she sleeps about 7 1/2 hours. I'm good with that.

I can only remember Lucy having one accident, not counting the time she ate a grape and had violent diarrhea in her crate. Sometimes we luck out.http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png

My pup is almost 12 weeks, and he does wake us up during the middle of the middle of the night, and goes to potty on his training pad.

I wouldn't necessarily call it normal.. but I sure as heck wouldn't complain!!! http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/tongue.png

Just don't freak out on him if he has an accident one day when you least expect it. It may not be normal, but it is sure a BLESSING!!! Gizzmo is 13 years old, and I have NEVER been able to completely housebreak him! It's been very frustrating. I understand now that he is an old guy that it's normal, but he's been doing this his whole life, so it IS frustrating. I would be telling everyone who would listen, and some who didn't, that he was doing so great! Congrats, you're one of the few lucky ones when it comes to housebreaking. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png
