Off the Chain was incredibly inaccurate, especially with the bite force (Nat Geo. disproved that myth at least a year ago) and the "It's all how you raise them" crap. Some moron is going to take that information heart and think they can "raise" the DA out of a dog or think it's okay breed HA dogs because they can "raise" the HA out of them. Not to mention people blaming gamebreds and game stock for the dog attacks

Here is an EXCELLENT unbiased docu. It covers breed politics, breed history, the difference between DA, HA in dogs, show cases legal competition such as weight pulls and obedience. Interviews politicians, top trainers and breeders etc..

I almost made a thread just for it. I've been watching it on youtube per part on a pretty slow lap top and I'm on part 4. It's 6 parts long.

pit bull carnival is a really good one, it shows how a dogman TRULY cares for his animals, sometimes even more than he cares for himself. these dogs are a person's life.

If I'm not mistaken I think that documentary calls UKC dogs the real APBTs and they talk smack about ADBA type dogs/shows and call game bred dogs the ones that attack instead of bullies and AKC/UKC staffs. Not a fan.

No. They do have one trainer lady who acts like that. But no, they don't say anything about adba. They show akc ring dogs.. then ukc.. then adba. And all they really say is that ukc is a more relaxed show atmosphere. And I think they mention that some amstaffs are akc winners and show dual registered ukc. And the association talk is like 5 minutes out of an hour. With no dog fighting footage in the whole thing.

It would have been better if they did not show a bunch of ambullys when talking about apbts. All that does is keep people ignorant to what breed is what.

That too, but all the documentaries do that (except Pit Bull Carnival).
