You need some stuff in the other dog related stuff. Maybe some links to collar, harness, leash (dog product) related sites because you require them. Stillwater, Collarmania, Ella's Lead just to name a few.

Yep, I agree and I'm working on it.
I will also be putting an ad up for the local dog health store and the vet clinic I use.

Very nice! And your rates are really reasonable compared to what I have seen here.

Thanks so much everyone!

It's in the works though, there is a lot that needs to be added/improved. I am going to upload the Dog Walking Contract and the rest of the forms so that people can view them, as well as references from people who's dogs I've walked in the past, etc.

Interesting! As someone who lives in a rural setting and has never encountered a dog walker in my life, it seems ridiculous to me to pay that for someone ELSE to exercise your dog... Totally different way of life at work there! lol

But on that note - I think the website is very user friendly and provides the pertinent information I'd want to know if I was looking for a dog walker A very good start!

Thanks ladies!

Teal, I totally get what you're saying. The idea of paying someone else to do what I love (walking/playing with my dogs) seems pretty absurd to me. However, I know that there are many people out there who simply do not have the time or physical ability to get their dog the stimulation it needs. I've spoken with many people who are physically handicapped and would love to have a dog but cannot get one because they wouldn't be able to walk them or don't feel comfortable doing such. It seems unfair that such people should have to miss out on such a great experience at no fault of their own. Then, there are the people who simply don't want to walk the dog (mostly families with children) because they don't have the time or energy in their day to day lives or do not/can not exercise a dog for other reasons.

As SemasMom mentioned, you would be surprised how much people will charge for dog walking services.

The site looks great but there are a two small details I would recommend you to change:

  1. The title (your business name) next to the three photos is very difficult for me to read, I would use a brighter color for it (e.g. the light blue of the background).
  2. On Services & Rates you used an image instead of plain text for 'My primary goal ...'. This isn't the best solution because search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. can't index it this way. This isn't a big deal though if search engines aren't that important to you.

Of course those are just suggestions from my point of view as a web designer. Besides that you did a terrific job.

I like it, easy to find the pricing and an easy read...I would use a walking service right now if I had one around because Goren and Logan really need walks that I cannot provide while pregnant and working full time doing manual labor work... plus the hubby working factory, we get maybe 1 walk in a week and its just not enough and I hate it, I used to do a 2 hour walk every day or every other day MINIMUM, days off was 4-6 hours of walking total...anyhow at your prices I would probably do at least 1 walk a week for Goren which would help a lot...just wish you were close lol

Thanks bulldoggerr!

Damn, Ellie! Wish we lived in the same town. I'd walk Goren for half an our 3x a week for $80/month, that's $10 off.
