Default It's sad they get blamed for everything.
So it was initially reported that this man was mauled to death by his Pit Bull, this assumption was made because the Pit Bull, Bones, had his owners blood on his coat. Turns out the man's roommate murdered him. Bones was probably just trying to comfort and care for his owner in his time of need and got blamed for being a monsterous murderer!

Police must have been pretty damn inept to mistake a murder for a dog mauling.

Yeah, big difference in knife wounds and bite wounds, I'd say. But I don't know if any of you live in the south, but discrimination is horrible...towards anything.

Poor dog. AC has him now. I hope someone hops down there and adopts him and that AC doesn't put him down.

Watched the video..sounds more like it was the neighbors accusing the dog rather than the police. "Uh Uh he was bred to Uh hunt wild boar and uh...wild cats like uh Pumas or uh something" Media is eating this one up alive. God forbid someone dies and they have a pit bull type dog...
Wheres the first story? I thought I saw it posted on here somewhere...

We made Lee surrender, correct?

Anyhow I see that you guys are blindly believing a media outlet sight unseen without getting the facts beforehand. At NO TIME did the police think the dog did it. NYPD Detectives can certainly tell the difference between an animal mauling and a human-on-human struggle. The dog story was told by a neighbor and of course true to today's standards, the media ran with it without fact checking first. So sorry to rain on the cop bashing parade but the info is wrong yet again.

It's pretty friggin sad when the story of a man's MURDER is overtaken by neighbours saying shit about the dead man's dog

The guy talking about what the dog was bred for made it sound like he thought the dog was a Dogo Argentino... which would make sense. Big, white dog... people don't know any better. lol

Well it's also sad that there's so much hate against the pitbull that this could be believable. Lol.

They are just making the "bad owner" connection - "See, that guy who owned that Pit Bull.. he was MURDERED! And we all know that only BAD people get murdered!" *rolls eyes*

ETA: I thought it was a Dogo at first, too... but when they show the close up, it doesn't have a Dogo head. Of course, it could be a really shittily bred Dogo! It's sure not what *I* would call a Pit Bull!
