Well hey everybody i have a question about what you use for chain spot or kennels on the ground that doesn't produce alot of dust and wont hurt the dog. What i mean by this is i have seen one chain spot on here that i cant find after searching that had rock dust or something like that on the ground. Right now i have mulch down and that works good for the dogs but i am trying to find something that alittle safer for the dogs. So any opinions or suggestions are welcome. and the mulch i have in there right now is double processed so it is really small pieces.

Rock dust is what a lot of people do use. It's also called crusher dust, crusher run, screening, lime dust... You can get it at most any quarry and it's pretty cheap. I've heard of people using sand but it wears on the chain bad. If you use a kennel some folks use pea gravel, but it'd be godawful trying to contain pea gravel to a chain spot.

well i dont like the idea of the pea gravel it just seams to sharp for the dogs feet and i was loooking at some stuff that is called limestone sand which i was thinking might work really well but i am thinking about the dust factor. Well see i am using it for a kennel and i am trying to find something that would be easy to contain and possible not hurt the dogs feet. i work for a landscape company so i can get a good deal on whatever i can get so that is why i wanted to see what would work best.
