Chloe, I think you'd like to name every dog Freddie. I used to have an aunt who had five horrible, nasty little teacup poodles. Every single one was named Pierre. I hated those miserable creatures in case you could'nt tell. They make really good moving targets though.

oops
I'll shut up when somebody actually does! They were all named Pierre for real? That's funny. I knew a guy named Phil and all three of his brothers were also named Phil, after their dad. It was ridiculous.

Bella is a brindle... she looks black inside, and outside, she looks chocolate. I always call her a melted Reese's because that's what she looks like... so maybe Reese's?

Here is a couple pictures of Bella that show her coloring....

Out in the sun....

Looking a completely different color...

Here she is looking more black....

Default Help Me Name My Baby Girl?
So, my name is Erin and I am brand new here and to being a dog(much less a puppy) owner. I've wanted dog of my own for a really long time and finally the opportunity has presented itself. My brother's purebred pitts had puppies about two weeks ago. I have already laid claim to the one I will be taking home as soon as she is ready. Now the problem. I am having trouble thinking of a name that fits her. So, I'm gonna post a few pictures and we'll see what you people think.

Also, as I am brand new at this, I have been doing A LOT of reading, but always apperiate more. If you know of any good articles or books out there that I should look into, just post 'em in your reply.

Cheers,
Erin♥

P.S. She is dark brown, not black. I thought she was black until we were snuggling in the sun today. Haha!

@Brindle- uhm? I have no idea what you mean.

@Krista- I am waiting but I really want to put a name to her so I can stop calling her "puppy" when I go to visit her. Haha.

It might help if you let us know what kind of names you like - people names, cutesy names, names based on her appearance, etc.?

Seal is a color, as mentioned. Black, but appears brown or red-ish in the sun. Cute pup. First name that comes to mind is Ruskin. I think it means brown. Not very girly, but I like different names.
