I'm looking for a veterinarian in the Fishtown area that handles dogs and cats. I recently moved here from Manayunk and haven't gotten any good recommendations from anyone yet.

To give you an idea of what we didn't like about our old vets: We previously took our dog to the Ardmore Animal Hospital (too expensive - also claimed we didn't have an appointment when we had a reminder card in our hands that they filled out) and to Mt Airy Animal Hospital (hated this place for SO many reasons: failing to tell us our dog had parasites, misdiagnosing, etc...). I used to take my cat to Caring for Cats and really liked the place, but it's just not convenient to take the dog and the cat to different places.

Anyone have any good experiences with a doc. close to my neighborhood and want to share?
