This is (IMO) the most true statement of all. My GF and I talk about dog-therapy all the time. Laying on the floor letting our dogs play, lick, roll around on us are some of the most fun times we have together.

My favorite dog poetry comes from Frances Rodman's "Lost Dog"...

He lifts his hopeful eyes at each new tread,

A couple of my favorites are:
