Default New law in Dallas, Tx
There is a new law that states you get fined 144.00 bux for not cleaning up after your dog. Cool, no problem.... BUT..... You dont have to be caught in the act for the fine to be applied to you. ALSO, You can be stopped by an officer if you are seen walking your dog without a poop bag in hand...... WOW

Hope that you have one in your pocket. It is a lame law but you have to admit with the way some people are irresponsible it was just a matter of time. I always carry 3 or 4 on me in case for some reason I meet another owner who needs one. I take slayer on the trails alot and people there often forget bags and dont clean up.

how can they fine you if they don't see you not picking up? How can they prove it was you/your dog? Easily fought in court. They will waste tons of money in pointless court battles over this.

I know we have a law that if caught not cleaning up after your dog you can get a ticket. Its a pain at times because with Harley I have him go before we leave so I dont have to worry about anything but pee but when I walk Indy myself on rare occasions I almost always forget I need a bag with her. Fortunatly my friend is usually with me and shes used to always needing to bring several bags with her so shes saved me a bunch of times lol but I always feel bad when I dont have a bag on me. Not that anyone would notice, where we walk it seems no one picks up after their dogs.. and its the sidewalk around a school too.

Nah. that was just a rule passed in a single condo complex.

I'd like to see any local government try to enforce everyone to pay those fees on every single dog and have their dog's DNA profiled. HA!
