Finding out whats going on with Jazz tomorrow, if he cant give mea definite answer on whats going on Im driving up and taking her, Ive already let him know and my boyfriend is taking me. This guy could be the perfect home.... I found out yesterday hes going through medical issues from prior service, his wife is in remission (and she brought in a new rescue horse without his knowledge the same day). The guy can be a jerk, and if it does turn out hes keeping her, both myself and my boyfriend will be on his butt to ensure he truly wants her, Im trying to prevent her from being bounced from home to home, I live in an apartment with three dogs and I cant financially take on another one with the issues Im having with my pomeranain.... so, looking to set up another home just in case, but so far every person falls through last second (mainly because of issues with her breed!)

Default Rescued a APBT---HSUS
During the last week I have been stressing myself over rescuing a one year old female APBT (mix?). I met this girl (named Jasmin... aka Jazz) while walking dogs for a locl kill shelter (euthanizes every three days). Jazz was the last dog I walked for that day and I was surprised how well she walked on a leash (no pulling!) she had no aggression with any other dogs, and even let two 6 week old puppies (who were rescued yesterday) climb all over her and chew on her ears and tail. She let two lttle boys who showed up to adopt a little dog pe her and give her teats (no food aggression!) and this sweet dog was schedualed to be put down Tuesday morning at 10:59. The most amazing thing about this girl.... someone cut her ears off with scissors, she was picked up as a stray and shes covered in old scabs...So, after going home I began to find a foster home... with no success, everyone already had one or more dogs they were fostering though I did have a friend who was willing to (despite the fact she already had three fosters and had already paid a five hundred dollar fine from her neighbors... noise complaint...)
And then on a stroke of luck, rather than finding a foster home I found a permanent home! wth someone who previously had APBT. So I began to arrange transportation and foster for the two days it would be before I could drive out to her new home. During this time we found out that the shelter manager no longer allowed people to foster animals, my only option was to adopt her myself and then later have the paper work signed over.... and to make my day better, I found out that the local Humane Society president (manager?) had driven up the day before and sponsered Jazz's adoption fee! Jazz is schedualed to be fixed July 5th, she had her rabies and microchip.... and I drove out Saturday to bring her to hr new home... to find out the next day the guy now can't keep her, hs wife doesnt want a dog... the man called me to let me know he is getting her spayed at a different vet, hes paying for her to have laser surgery etc then taking her to a "no-kill" shelter
(Jazz stayed with me for a couple days before I could transport her up, she is potty trained!!!!)

So now I am freaking out agian, I've seen way to many sweet dogs who have stayed in shelters to long nd begun to develop "bad" behavior, Jazz deserves to find a great home with someone who can love her forever. I would love to adopt her, and I am considering it, but right no I am having a lot of issues with my rescued pomeranian (pupymill dog) Pandora, the vet has reccomended I consider putting her down and I dont want to stress the situation of everything going on with Pandora,. though amazingly, Jazz got along with Pandora.
So Im trying to get Jazz back from this DICK (he's been refusing, luckily Jazz is still under my name so legally she is my dog)
but I need to find her a home...
anyone interested?

...people NEVER cease to amaze me.....

I'm glad you still own her legally...Jazz sounds like an AMAZING pup.

I pray you can find her a REAL forever home, she certainly deserves it, and thank you for your helping her!

Pandora is a 10+ year old pomeranian I rescued from euthanasia, shes a "retired" puppymill breeder. She has a bunch of neuological issues and aggression and the las year its been getting worse along with the fact she can no longer hold her bladder. The guy is being a complete jerk over it, he older than me by a good 30 years and is insistent that he knows what he is doing an that he will take care of everything

the humane society paid for her adoption fee to get her off of the euthanasia list since the shelter no longer allows fostering.

^^ You do know the HSUS has NOTHING to do with state and local Humane Societies, right?

If she's legally your dog, what's stopping you from going to get her and keeping her until you find her a home? Get the police involved, he can't keep her if you have paperwork that says she's not his.

Jazz sounds like a great girl. Get yourself a decently intimidating escort like a guy..or the police and get your dog back!
