Default Something that made me happy :)
My neighbors were talking to my bf when he was walking Bear.

They asked what he was, and my bf said some kind of "not sure, some kind of bully mix"

And the lady surprised me !!

She said "Well he looks like an American Bully"

I dunno, that made me have hope in all these people in our world...

I dont think that would surprise most people..
but when my bf told em that, I got so giddy and smiled !!

lol I asked what he said to that, and he said to the chick "well yeah, he is most likely some kind of American Bully, but without a pedigree we dont really know what he is for sure"

Ahh the power of education !! LOL

I am excited to walk him and come across these women (the lesbians) and ask and talk to them, they have pugs so I ASSUMED they werent to "dog" savvy, GUESS I WAS WRONG!!!

(pictures of Bear to show off his "Ambully-ness")

He looks like classic AmBully to me. Nice dog pookie. Yea the power of education.. I guess with the ownership of this breed, part of your responsibility is to educate. Goodluck with him.. keep us updated with pics.

That he does

Even though he has no papers, or ped he is a good pup !!

I agree, education is key. >WE< may have not educated these people, but the fact that I educated my BF and he explained the no pedigree and American Bully thing to people makes me so happy

I am excited maybe American Bully and the TRUE American Pit Bull Terrier will be full on separate breeds like they should be makes me so happy !!

I will keep updated with pictures My sisters "pitbull" will be over until July 4th so new pictures will be a constant !!

He looks like an Ambully crossed back with a APBT to me. I guess that's classic but I still think he has the body of the APBT maybe a little bigger. How much does he weigh? HEs a great looking dog.

I think a TRUE Classic American Bully (IMO) is a cross between APBT an Amstaff.. correct me if I am wrong..

I think he has, at this age, a VERY APBT looking body style.

Long and lanky. I compare him to a full on American Bully, Classic.XL IMO and he looks a lot smaller and leaner, at this age.

Could just be age.

I am not sure on his weight, never weighed him lol I know, bad owner lol, but I feel like he right now is 50-55-69lbs AT LEAST !!

He is a solid dog.

Thank you so much I think he is a great looking dog, not everyone does, BUT I DO !!!

look up my threads for more pictures of Bear or add me on FB

Wow for a real gamedog.. 55-69lbs on pitweight is a monster! I'm used to seeing ambullies weigh easy @100-130lbs because they are packed with flabs!!. Biggest I've seen is @52lbs pitweight and he looks like a horse.

He is a great dog because he is "your dog" noone can take that away from you. He is lucky he got you as his owner. Is he active or trainable? Get him in condition and you would appreciate him more. In the process you will be exercised aswell.. so I guess it's a two way thingy.

Well I cant start doing anything serious with him until he is at least a year, I dont want to cause issues down the line from me working him to hard when he is small.

He is very trainable, and active..
I have to take him out and stuff at night because its to damn hot in Arizona, it was 114* today.

But yep, I need exercise because I am seriously a fat ass..

Oh! I thought he is full grown! But you can start training him in some degree just to keep him active so when the time comes that his body can go all out. He got the drive to finish the task.

Yeah Bear is going to be pretty large. Such a handsome boy he is!

He is growing at the same rate as a friend of mines' Ambully. She looked more APBT-like when she was in that 5-8 month lanky stage but now that she's full grown she looks like a classic bully, not too overdone. Her brother was/is the same but I HATE his poor excuses for owners and haven't seen him forever.

Here she is just growing out of the lanky stage, I will have to dig up some recent ones.

Nice! Once in a blue moon a stranger will make a point of talking to me about my dog & knows what she is or more accurately what is in her. It's so refreshing meeting people with a bit of good knowledge who can spot a good dog & make the effort to say hello. Stops me from feeling like a Pariah.

Your dog reminds me of mine haha Your dogs pretty
I remember when jane went through the goofy stage haha She looked so small and big headed=P

The first ones when shes about 8 maybe 9 months and the other ones are her size now(I threw the last one in there cause i thought it was funny)

Anyone have a guess at what she is? Not to good with that stuff

Thanks! She's not my dog though, she belongs to a friend. The brindle mutt with her in the first photo is my dog.
Looks like a pitbull type mix to me, no way of knowing if you don't have an honest pedigree though.
She does look kinda Ambully-ish in the 2nd and 3rd pics you posted.
She's cute whatever she is. All that matters is that you love and do right by her, give her a good life.
