My sister's home was burglarized this morning about 10am. In addition to taking everything of value, these lovely human beings took her dog, Vito. Vito is a brown and white pit who is very gentle and submissive. I am offering a large reward for any information that will help us bring Vito home. If you know anyone who might know anyone, etc that might have information, we will appreciate ANYTHING. Reward flyers are being printed and I am attaching a picture of Vito. You can contact me at shannie214@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!!

Welcome to PBC.
So sorry for your family's loss. Check out this thread: What to do when your dog goes missing Also, I'd make this post in General Dog Discussions because it will get more exposure. Also, I'd add what area your sister is in. |

Today, my sister's home was broken into on Eleanor St in Atlanta. Everything of value was taken along with her pit bull, Vito. The offenders used a fire extinguisher in her home to corner the dogs (they did not take her other dog, which was not a pit). I am offering a large reward for ANY information that leads to getting Vito back. Someone saw something on her street. I know it. Anyone who has information can contact me at shannie214@sbcglobal.net. Below is a picture of Vito. He is a family dog, gentle and submissive.

That would be great. I started a FB page called "Finding Vito". Please send it around. I know the people who took him are somehow connected to one of her neighbors. They have to be for certain reasons but "nobody saw anything". There is no way that someone pulls into a driveway and loads up TVs, computers, and tons of other stuff (including the dog) and no one saw anything on that street. We just want him back. We don't care about the electronics. Tomorrow I plan to send his reward flyer to the rescue centers and shelters. I will also try to contact the media. The Internet shows a similar incident 2 years ago in the north Atlanta area. I don't know if they ever got their pit back. Thanks so much for any help.

Vito is home!!!! He somehow got away from his captors and made it home. It looks like he's been through a really rough time and a vet visit will tell us more tomorrow. He arrived barking about 30 minutes ago dragging his back legs (he's has bad knees so we're not sure what he's been through), but he's home. I will post tomorrow with an update. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE ON THIS BLOG FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!
