Anyone ever heard of Kind Hearts Behavior Center? I was thinking about maybe getting Baloo classes there. It's a lot closer to my house that HOTC

I have a 9month old apbt that I have socialized at the dog park while a puppy now that she is a bit older I would prefer to socialize her in a controlled environment.

does anyone know any good relitively inepensive obedience classes or want to meet up for some socializing/training sessions

she has never shown aggresion but does get overly excited while around other dogs which is why I'm looking for some other s for her to get used to being around other dogs on a regular basis

I'm in the area, I know there is a training school you can look into I can't remember the name but if you do some googleing you should be able to find it, and I would offer to have a play date with you but well let's just say my dogs do better playing with each other instead of other animals, but you could also come out to the Alabama Bulldogger associations show it's gonna be on may 28th in new market, al about 15 min from downtown Huntsville, there are a couple more members in the area, that might can help more maybe they will respond

thanks, I will definitely try to make it to te event. She does does really good on a leash occasionally tries to chase a squirel or run towards a dog but a tug and a "eh" and she usually responds. I need to find her a walking buddy and or a hiking buddy. I work up at monte sno so she gets plenty of walks

Be ware of scams, I found this local dog trainner who on her website seemed to do a good job, but when I look at all the reviews on her company, all I saw were bad reviews and complaints.

As you know, I'm in huntsville too ha. I've heard great things about the Huntsville Obedience Training Club. They do Canine Good Citizen and Agility and all that stuff.

When I trained my other dog, we went to someone we heard great things about who worked at the Petsmart on University but now she trains dogs for the police!

I looked at the hotc, they were at the top of my list, but there booked solid for 2 months but I guess you have to wait for good things I'm going to call them this afternnoon
