"Go Away"...so when you are calling him you say..."Come Here Go Away" and sound like a fool. His sister "Get Down" is always fun to get into your lap..."Get Up Get Down"!!!

When I was a kid I had a dog named Mrs Peabody. I used to watch the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. LOL

We had a little stray kitten that came over and started living in the yard with our cat eatting his food and such. So we started feeding her but one day MIL left the bag of cat food outside while she walked to her moms house next door to say hi and we pulled up and the little kitten was half way into the bag of food trying to eat it instead of what was in the bowl for her. Having my son with me my reaction was "That little booger!" as I got out and chased her away from the bag. My son ended up catching on and from then on he called the kitten Boogie. Eventually we decided she needed a real home because this area isnt to safe and my friends dad offered to take her in and he decided to keep her name. But he ended up spoiling her so her name is now Princess Boogie. But my friend said when they took her in to the vet and said that her name was Boogie the tech gave them the weirdest look lol fortunatly they we able to explain a 2 year old named her and they just kept her name.

I have a hispanic friend that owns a mechanic shop. The shop next door has a pit named "Puto"! English translation = "bitch"!!

One day I had Malika with me as I went up there, and here he comes barrelling down the street and his owner yelling, PUTO, ¡ven aquí!
I thought he was calling me a bitch until my friend told me it was the dogs name and the fact that he was chasing the dog.
LMAO!!!!
I think you mean "puta" which means whore in spanish. The word "puto" isn't a Spanish word at all, it doesn't mean anything. :P

Perra means bitch in Spanish. Also, it can be confusing because in Spanish whore and bitch kind of mean the same thing. In Spanish, Hijo de puta means "son of a whore", which is the Spanish equivalent of "son of a bitch" in English.

Either way, puto isn't a Spanish word :P

We have a barn cat named Waffles. haha.
and my poor Thoroughbred I used to own a few years ago, his registered JC name was April's Girl. but....he's definitely a gelding. So sad!! We used to joke that the reason why he was retired from the racetrack was because the other horses used to joke his name so much so he started not winning because his self-esteem was too low. LOL.

These names are REALLY funny though. This is a good thread, LOL.

Had a guy come into one of my classes once with a mixed breed named Canardly.

He said it means "Can hardly tell it's a dog." It was a pretty funny looking wirehaired dog.

No need to get hostile, just trying to help you out. And I'm not a Spanish teacher, but dating somebody who's Puerto Rican and his family speaks fluent Spanish (because they're directly from Puerto Rico) has its up sides.

My Thoroughbred JC name was Picture Pal. His owner actually called him that all the time lol I named him Claudio. After Coheed and Cambria's lead singer Claudio Sanchez

Dig that, not hostile at all, a little sacrastic maybe, but never hostile! My girlfriend is Mexican, so I get that all the time. They know I dont speak spanish so they take what they can get from me!!!!

Soggy,
short for September Oligopoly Golgi.

Yeah, the story is as long as the name...

Aiko-Aiko
An old folk song, pretty unique tho. Turns out it was a schitzo cat, so
"Psycho Aiko"
