Default I love my dog!
Moto is FINALLY growing up!

I have taken him on two off-leash hikes on the last two weekends and ya'll would be shocked to see how amazingly well he behaves. His recall is nothing short of stellar. Like, you call for him to "Come" and he does a 100% haul-*ss immediate return to you. He did a "Wait" for me at a 40ft distance in a snow bank. He met a horse politely, and ignored other dogs with grace.

Holy guacamole, where has he been all my life??

That's all :-D

Isn't it nice? Since I've found my new place to take the dogs, I've been letting them off leash (there's never anyone there), with their e-collars on, but I've never had to use them. I say "here" and they come flying! I love it

I had his e-collar on the first trip, but the second was completely alone so I wasn't worried. He did well anyway
I day dream about being with Mo while I'm at work now... the hard work of puppy phase is finally gone!

great job Moto! keep up the good work

one of the most important things to train is the recall. that is one thing when Peanut was a puppy i worked on every day. now he is 100% reliable with it. all we have to do is say his name or make a aaaa sound and he comes right away doesn't even hesitate.

I was just thinking about Moto today.. wondering how big he's getting. WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!?!?!? LOL. Indie's recall is still shaky at best, and she has just recently come into her prey drive.. so birds and squirrels and blowing leaves are all highly distracting right now! lol

Moto never hit his prey drive really...like, not as much as I'd expect out of a terrier.

He's huge now!! 10mon and 62lbs!!! That's bigger than his daddy already!
I'll work on getting some pics...he's so damn handsome
