If you aren't picky on the breed why not just get a mutt dog from the shelter?

I wouldn't purposely look for any kind of bulldog if I were you. With a Toy Poodle in the house a DA prone dog probably wouldn't be a good idea. And GSD's and Rottweiler's can be a bit much for novice owners to handle.

i wouldlbut they are just too upredictable and if my dog got hurt my mom wud be pissed cuz he is over 300$. and Akwardly most dogs I have ever owned and gotten attached to were total strays or were abandoned on the side of the road. I wud love to adopt but im more attracted to get strays instead of adopt one time i actually picked up raised and kept a whole litter i got their mom as a stray while she was prego kept them all til death. But i have been thinking about working at a shelter. For some reason i can really rehabilitate dogs especially strays.

Just know that having a Pit Bull with the Poodle will most likely result in you having to "Crate and Rotate" or the possibility of the poodle getting hurt is very strong. The chances of this actually increase with a well bred APBT.If keeping the dogs completely separate for their entire lives and the constant precautions and extra vigilance required to keep everyone safe sound like more than you can/will be able to handle,I would hold off on the idea of a bulldog.

What do you want in a dog? An active pet to exercise or compete with? Just a lap dog to cuddle? Short or long hair? How large is your living space? How many hours a day will the dog be left alone? There are many things to consider before settling on a breed then you still have to do your research on that particular breed before making a final decision. If I were you I would start by making a list of what you do/don't want and what you are capable of caring for(veterinary care/food is often cheaper for a small dog)And some breeds require less exercise than others.

So, what happens when your new dog likes your mom better than you? Will you get another dog then too?

I would wait to get a dog until you are not living with your parents. How old are you?

Yeah, I would wait too.

I know this from experience.

I never had dogs growing up that weren't my PARENTS' dogs FIRST. I really don't see how it would work any other way when I think about it. It worked perfectly. Although my parents' had dogs I loved very much and I thought of them as mine; and maybe you don't like the Poodle, I really do believe it would be best for the dog and secondly for YOU if you wait.

I would wait to get a dog. Owning a dog is expensive and a huge commitment. Not to mention the breeds you listed are often not allowed in rental homes and home insurance is very difficult to get with those breeds. At 16, you don't really know where you'll be in 5 years.

I'm not even going attempt to understand what you're typing until you use some punctuation. This isn't a knock or anything, but I can't follow anything you're trying to say. It's just a bunch of jumbled words randomly arranged without any meaning to me right now.

Dude, just wait to get your own dog. I'm 17 and could have had my own bulldog AGES ago, but it's best to be able to 100% raise the dog on your own how you want to without any outside influence. It'll be a great learning experience, too.
