Question. help please

Ok here is my question. I have a female blue pit, she's probably about a year old, maybe a lil older. Anyway, she's got a pretty well toned body to her and I want to get her spayed, only problem is I'm worried she will lose her muscle tone. What do you guys think? Will she stay stolky if I get her spayed?

Spaying won't cause her to gain weight, lack of excersise and overfeeding does. After she recovers from the surgery make sure you keep up her excersise pattern and feed her appropriate amount of food and she'll stay looking great

Yeh,spay your blue dog,it wont hurt it,but I suggest hitting up the ambully section and learn about your ambully.

Spaying won't cause any issues as far as muscle tone goes. Infact you will be reducing the risk of her getting pregnant (that could affect it a bit), and you will be protecting her by decreasing her risks of female cancers. Go for it! It won't affect her muscle tone in the least. A good diet and proper exercise will keep her in shape!

actually, spaying doesnt decrease the risk of cancer, and as for that myth that it will keep a dog from becoming aggressive, scratch that too, i have a mutt in the back that soon after getting spayed she became aggressive and hit every dog in the yard when before, she never did that.

Yeah but you remove uterus, you remove the risk of uterine cancer. So how does it not reduce the risk of female related cancers? Obviously it won't reduce the risk of non female related cancer but female related cancer yes.
