Hey folks,
Well it's winter here in Canada and I was just wondering what you guys use on your pet's paws during the cold months? We would love to continue our daily walks with Luna but an average day in my neck of the woods can range from -5 to -25 degrees. Are you putting boots on your dog? I know some people suggest an invisible boot type paste to apply to their pads...Luna usually has it licked off before we get out the door! lol We tried walking her yesterday and even though it wasn't very cold she was still trying to lick her paws mid walk so we turned around and headed for home. I have no intentions of walking her in -25 degree weather but I would love to get her out for some exercise on sunny days. Any advice is appreciated. |

bark 'n boots is the only boot i would recommend. have had wonderful luck with these for over a year. Peanut is about to get his second pair very soon (christmas) my husband lost Peanut's first pair that had about 300 miles of hiking on them.
also, they just made a polar version of these that is supposed to be great in the snow, i haven't tried them though it doesn't snow here. you might want to look those up. they are made by ruff wear |
