I got one for Samson to be neutered, they are paying for it all minus the rabies shot.

I've gotten several rescue dogs with heart murmurs fixed and never had any issues. What grade is the murmur?

I don't know. The vet said she could refer me to a cardio vet and have it checked and graded, but at the time I was using every last penny I had to get Rita her shots, heartworm test and ear infection cleared up. It was well over $500 and my husband wasn't working at the time. We dipped into our savings and had to go without for a bit to take care of her, but it was either we take her off brothers hands or he take her to the pound, so we took her. She was just too sweet and full of personality to pass her up.

She's been here for a year now, the hubby got a job last month and things are looking up. After having Rita glued to me for a year I just can't imagine something happening to her and having to get on without her. I can do it if the dog had a long life, but not when a dog is so young, ya know?
