The vet thinks she is about 3 months. She is less than 7 pounds, so if she is already three months I don't think she is going to get very big. We think she is a lab mix, but who knows. I wish I could contact the idiots that dumped her and tell them "Hi, I'm cleaning up your mess...has cost me over $100 already. I would much rather have just paid for your dog to be spayed." And if this girl has ring worm, you know the rest of their dogs do too...and cats...and kids.... Idiots.
I have contacted the North Texas Bully rescue and they will help me home her when she is ready to go. Barbara |

aww....I"m a total sucker too! I'm currently fostering a pit bull even though I swore up and down not to bring any more dogs into my home. I have one basset and one apbt and now another apbt I'm nursing back to health!
My heart just cannot say no to a needy animal. Good for you! I hope a rescue group helps ya out and helps you find a home for him! |

I was picking Cole up from the vet's today when someone brought in a puppy that had just been dumped out of a truck (there were actualy two pups but one was taken by another person in the parking lot). This little girl is small and frightened...and has a bad case of ring worm. The man who brought her in said he could not take her because he already had four dogs at home, two that are pitty puppies. What to do?
I now have a small, maybe lab mix, pup in a crate in the back room. He has been give worming meds, flea meds, and has started treatment for the ring worm (I have washed so frequently since bringing her home I think my hands and arms are going to dry up and crumble away!) I am going to contact a resue group and tell them I will foster her if they will help me find her a home...after the ring worm is cleared up, that is. ![]() |
