Default Rant - Somebody's Gettin' It
I wouldn't call myself irrational, but push me enough and I'll really explode. My b/f encouraged me to rant it out before I engage in any "trouble." But good god... I'm sick of those stupid ass neighbors and their ignorance is pissing me off. We've been over and over this on this forum and I've done what I'm supposed to do. Fixed my fence, supervise my dogs, keep my breakstick on me every time we go out along with my bat, worked with Simon on his listening/response (which he's gotten to be awesome at). But these stupid ass MF***ers are gonna get a bat up their ass if they don't take some goddamn responsibility and chain spot their dogs. Now both of them are free roaming all night and all day in the back yard. The bigger dog has enough sense to stay away from the fence when Simon is out, but their new puppy is really not getting the picture. I do not want trouble for my dog or theirs. If it keeps rushing the fence and sticking it's head thru, it's gonna lose it's nose, I can promise you that, and then I'll lose MY dog! I'm not down with that. I just watched these ignorant bastards do nothing while their dogs were running at the fence. It always takes me hitting the outdoor kennel with my bad and a strict "back off" and Simon leaves it alone. They usually aren't even outside, but today, oh yeah, they were and had this rod or something, probably cause they've heard me hit that bat a few times. Do they think they're gonna do anything to me or my dogs or my property? Here's what pisses me off the most.... that new puppy is showing a LOT of signs of HA... NO DOUBT! Simon never goes off on people, but this little bitch is doing it at me straight up and that is really not gonna be okay. I was trying to decide if I wanted to get into it with them now or later, b/c obviously, I'm pissed. I'd like to knock the teeth out their mouth! I did yell "they need to keep their dogs on f*cking chain spots" while i was on the phone with my b/f...who talked me out of going to my fence line. I know I have a temper and I know I get lit up real quick, but Simon is not getting the outside time he needs. He's gained weight and it's not fair for me to have to keep mine in all the time and them to leave theirs out to free roam, especially when they told me about the one being a jumper. We addressed this day one that they moved in. I like to keep my deals, no back peddling... no reassessment based on convenience. Lit up doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now, but I felt it was better to let it out here than let those two dumbasses put me and mine in any kind of situation... as least til my b/f gets home.

you have youre property fenced? add another cheaper feild fence (if you dontthink your dog will tear it up) about 3ft inside where their dogs are rus.hing the fence, and no noses will be touched again. call the cops o the neighbors every day till SPCA gets fed up wit hyou and tickets them.

If the dog is sticking it's head through the fence... ever tried using one of those electric fly swatters? You could probably rig it over the hole so every time the dog sticks it's nose in your yard.. it gets a direct zap.

What about putting in chain spots for your dogs so they don't have access to the dogs head? This way at least if the dog actually comes INTO your yard, it's their problem.

If they are safe to handle, take them to the shelter or have A.C come and pick them up.Hopefully paying a fine will wake the owners up.

You may have to take your dog out on a leash. Let them do there business and bring them back inside. Take them for onleash walks for exercise, rather than letting them run the yard. Honestly, if thier dog gets hurt by your dog, even though it is thier fault, you will get in trouble. Your dog could then be deemed a vicious dog, unfairly. No, it's not right, but as a pit bull owner you have to be more responsible than other breed owners.

rig one of them up to the fence
that actually cracks me up, b/c it reminds me of this guy who has this "system" set up on his truck and the front door to his house and if someone touches it, it will send like 900,000 volts thru them (same as a stun gun)...he says it keeps visitors from showing up unexpectedly...

That's the route I would go. Or invest in a treadmill for another form of enrichement outside of leash walks. Sucks to feel like a prisoner in your own freakin' home though and not be able to enjoy your own yard.
