Default So you think you want a pit?
Is there any articles i can send to my friend who is thinking about owning a pit? She is by no means responsible, or ready for a pitbull. Her last dog was an ankle biter who was terrible. I sent her this already

Is there any good articles that can kind of open her eyes to what she'd be getting herself into?

Check out Pit Bull Rescue Central (either.org or .com - sorry, I am a dork, when it comes to some computer things). Wealth of information there.

is it a 'Pitbull' as in BULLY or 'Pitbull' as in apbt? because either way she will be spending good amount of money on a well bred apbt or an ambully ask her if she can afford 1900 (apbt) or 4000 (ambully) for a pup to be shipped ontop of all the medical bills and food, treats, toys, crate, bed, and training
the price alone should scare her off. also tell her that byb's dont even know what the hell they have and 99% of them are ambully dogs

Even better.... She wants because "her co-workers dog had a litter and their sooo cure"

Also her co-worker ASSURES her their "PURE BRED" pitbulls with 0 papers or any form of document. We all know what that means, an OOPS litter from somebody who has 2 "pitbulls" that were sold to them as the same "pure bred".

Lastly....Where the F are you buying a 1,900 pitbull or a 4,000 am bully? Sounds like an "XXL BLUENOSE" price to me.... I've found several breeders who show and work their dogs with dogs for sale well under the 1,000 mark.

I actually just had a co worker try to get me to buy some "blue" pit bull puppies. So my girl could have a friend. I laughed, a lot and told her that's the stupidest fucking thing ever, and she got lectured.

really?
e-mail: I have a male available from this litter. The total cost would be $1250. That's a great litter!
