Bella, she just looked like a Bella....so it stuck.
Beep, we named her 'Kage' at first, didn't fit her and we had a dog with a simular name at the time(kain). Beep was a very active puppy, and we allways said '' Beep Beep! '' like the roadrunner in those cartoons with wile E Coyote-and it stuck. So her name became ''Beep''. Rosealeah's name just kinda popped out, plus she is red like a rose.So Rose was what we WERE calling her...then I blurted out Rosealeah-and liked it better. Mischa, her name came because I liked the name and it fit her. I do not call her that very often,as her nickname is more of what I call her these days. Her Nickname is Shu (pronounced Shee-YOU!)Went from mischa,to mischa mooshu, to shu.(don't ask...I had a cat named Seth aka Beefle Boffle.LOL) |

ok this is kinda silly I know...but ok here it goes, I want to be a police officer (I went to school for it and all...just no jobs atm it seems) and well I LOVE Law and Order CI...its not like its that accurate but its way more than CSI (I cant stand CSI, I will yell at the screen saying they are doing it wrong and throw stuff if I watch it lol) Can't Stand Idiots DH named Rosie before I met them. It came from one of his favorite songs (that I can't remember the name of) and at Christmas he changes the words of Rudolph the Red Nosed reindeer to Rosie the Red Nosed Pit Bull. When we got Nick his name was Romeo...that was NOT going to work, it didn't fit him at all. I was leaning towards Teddy, but DH liked Nick better. Nick fits him, but I do call him Nickolas sometimes. |

i wanted a greek name for eagle but couldnt find a nice female goddess except juno. buttt when i went to meet eagle i saw she was no juno. so i had to look for a new name again. i was watching clash of the titans and saw how zues came down to earth in a form of an eagle and i just loooove bald eagles. i did some research and saw that that was true zeus always came down in the form of an eagle. so i picked eagle, not a greek god name but from a greek god and the bird i love. kinda boyish but yea.
lucky (whose currently on a lifelong vacation with my cuzzin down in florida) is wayy longer. basically i was looking dor a pup my neighbor was moving and couldnt take her two new puppies i asked her for one and told her id pay. she said i can have him for free. then the next day said someone was comming to buy both him and his sister so i cried and cried. then the day after she said the guy didnt come and if he didnt come buy the next day lucky was mine. i decided that night if i get him id indeed be lucky and so would he cause hed be spoiled for the rest of his life. got him next day |

Well...while stationed in Alaska we were offered this adorable red pit and she was the sweetest little thing but we were unable to take her at the time. I was so upset and my husband said not to worry we'd get a puppy when it was the right time and we'd call her Sweetie. So, I finally got my baby girl and I called her Sweetie but my husband doesn't like to go around calling her Sweetie--especially around the fellas! LOL So, he calls her Darlin'... So, Sweetie Darlin' it is. She answers to both
![]() We named our Rose because she smiles so and her eyes and nose look so rosie. It seems to fit her because she's beautiful like a rose but don't mess with her--you might get a thorn! LOL |

Asparagus (pitbull mix)- It was supposed to be a temporary name but I loved it! Tonka (pitbull/american bulldog)- He was a big sloppy goofball who would always run into things and not even get phased Teddy (pitbull)- He was a big teddy bear and also had the markings of a teddy bear If we want to talk about fosters mostly I just find unique names that attract adopters ...lame but true..marketing ![]() |

1. My fiance named Notch. He is named for the white collar that goes around his neck "notches" up into the black in the back. Not registered but his registered name would be Notch of the Mountain, because he acts all noble and that's just what my fiance calls him sometimes. lol. Posted a picture so you can see the white "notch" up into the black.
![]() 2. My fiance named Tess. He said she looked like a panther, so, then came up with Huntress, and somehow narrowed it down to Tess. lol. Her register name is Tess the Mess, because we were always saying, "Tess, you are a mess." 3. Hawken was named by both of us. His registered name is Stephen Hawking, named after the great mind. His call name is Hawken, because Stan liked how it looked better than Hawking. 4. Magnus is my fiance son's dog. He named him after the World's Strongest Man, Magnus Ver Magnusson. So, that would be his registered name. 5. Locus was named by me. My fiance mentioned on his way home from work one day that he thought Locust would be a good name for a dog. I really liked it, but wanted to spell it differently. When I registered her, I looked up types of Locust trees, and thought Black Locust fit her best. 6. Morgan was named by both of us. We saw something on the history channel about the Revolutionary War, and really like what we heard about Br. Gen. Daniel Morgan, so, we decided to name one of our dogs after him. ![]() |

I just always liked the name Rhys, and when I went to see him he just looked like a Rhys. His old name was Angel, which didn't suit him at all. Plus, he's the colour of a Reese's peanut butter cup. :-P
I want a Corgi someday and will name it Pickles! lol. My next dog though I'm hoping to get a Bull Terrier after I move out. I think I would be shot if I got a second dog right now. I'm not sure what I'd name her though. |
