Default Got some information today
on the gal that owns the R.Ridgeback that attacked Nick. I SHOULD have her name tomorrow and can call the Sheriff back with that infomation.
Sounds like she's a real piece of work!
She had a really nice house that she let go into foreclosure a couple years ago. She is now renting a place, but hasn't paid rent in 13 months. Writes bad checks all over the county.
She spends her days driving her dogs around. Turns them loose in school playgrounds, ball parks, etc and doesn't clean up after them.
Drives by houses with dogs in the yard so her dogs can bark at them, then if the dogs get out of the yard, she slowly drives down the road so they can chase her car.
She went to a store near her house on Thursday and begged the gal working there for pizza because she she didn't have any money and had to take her dog to the vet because it was attacked by either a pit bull or a rottie.
A guy at work has had to retrieve his dog more than once when she's driven down the road with his dog chasing her car. His neice knows her and is getting her name for me.

Wow, that's some piece of work you got on your hands.
I hope your dog is doing better, did he get his tooth pulled out yet?

Once they got him sedated, they found the tooth wasn't broken, just loose, so he was able to keep it. He does have a hairline fracture in his jawbone tho.
He's doing MUCH better, the swelling is down and he's loving his soft food diet.

Those parts make it sound like she has a place to cause an incident with her dogs or someone else's so she can sue and get some $$.

Wow... she sounds like a hot mess.... but, then again, your friend at work wouldn't have to retrieve his dogs from chasing her, if he didn't let them run loose... sorry, but that's a pet peeve of mine.

Sounds like she doesn't need to have anything in her care, much less dogs... It's too bad that dogs can't be taken away from negligent owners, like kids can be.

This is true. I'm not saying it's right, but he does live WAY out in the country on farmland where pretty much everyone lets their dogs run loose.

Oh jeez. She shouldn't have dogs at all. I am glad Nick is going to be OK though.

Well, she is a thin blond, and from what I hear, she's got the sob story down pat.
